4-16-2009 After being rescheduled twice, The 2008 season opening World Dirt Racing League Event was
finally run at Davenport Speedway, Wednesday Night. The wait was well worth it for Lisbon Iowa's Ryan
Dolan, as he and Stealth Race cars started 2008, just as they had finished 2007, taking home the win.
Stealth mods would finish first, third and fourth, as Bob Dominacki finished third and Rick Hixson would
round out the top 4.

Defending Pro Modified track champion Thad Wilson of Moline, Il. won his heat race and feature at Davenport
Speedway 5-2-08. The Dominator Bob Dominacki would come home in second in another dominant display of
muscle by the STEALTH modifieds early in 2008.
